The CBC Women’s Union General Council members visited the inmates of the Nkongsamba Prison on the 3rd of July 2010. The inmates were delighted with the material gifts of rice and washing soap. Both the visitors and visited were more elated by  the many who indicated their willingness to pray, and prayed to receive Jesus as their personal saviour after the brief exhortation by Sister Sentina Makong.Follow-up was left in the hands of the Nkongsamba Baptist Church Pastor, who accompanied the women. It was a wonderful round up for their July workshop program.

The Baptist Field Women launched the “Bamenda Field Women’s Missionary Fellowship” (BFWMF) during the first quarter of this, intended to enhance their evangelistic moves. Their targeted cities and towns are Kouserri in the extreme north of Cameroon and Ako-Aya. Both are boarder towns where the gospel is greatly needed. With the collaboration of the Director of Evangelism and Missions, a Pastor is already being sought.
